In 1998, three successful Mazak salesmen formed Pinnacle Machine Tools Inc.   Don Roberts, Dennis McCurry, and Jerry Edwards.   Over the years, Pinnacle has become the trusted Mazak distributor for Tennessee, Alabama, and the Panhandle of Florida.  

In 2014, Don Roberts retired from Pinnacle to spend more time with his family. For the next ten years, Dennis and Jerry worked together as co-owners of the company to serve their customers and employees.

In 2024, Dennis McCurry decided to retire as well.  Terry Peer purchased his shares of Pinnacle to partner with newly named president Jerry Edwards.  

Jerry Edwards, who some regard as the most passionate and loyal Mazak salesman in the country continues to serve the customers of Northern Alabama while assisting the sales staff with his manufacturing and machine knowledge.

Terry Peer who was a 27-year employee at Mazak Corporation, now serves as Vice President and partner to Jerry.   Terry’s focus is on operations and growing the Pinnacle service and parts organization to better serve our customers post sale.
